For a while I’ve been using seokeywordranking.com for tracking progress on a range of sites that I maintain for either myself or clients. As I have previously mentioned, I like online solutions for quick research, but the quality and value from seokeywordranking.com puts it in to a different league.
SEOKeywordRanking.com recent relaunched with a new design and logo, and I felt the time was right to finally release the review I promised the owner a long time ago. Online SEO Tools are important for my work, and they save me a lot of time, especially this tool.
The solution is quite simple, but extremely powerful. Once you sign up, you can have a number of projects, each with its own set of keywords to track. The reports can be run manually or automatically and sent to your e-mail.
It is very nice to automatically get a report in your inbox once a week (I’ve set my reports up to be delivered on Fridays, best day to look back and analyze.) It is easy to monitor if everything is going well, or if something just turned horribly wrong.
As you can see on the screenshot on the left, the e-mails that you receive look very nice, and gives you a very easy overview. The graph shows the overall progress of the about 15 keywords I monitor for that particular domain (name and URL blurred). Beneath that you get todays current rankings for all the keywords you are tracking, in each major search engine, Google, Yahoo and Bing.
You can enter a range of different keywords, and all are checked in the different local languages that is supported by the tool. Currently these Target Languages are supported:
United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Thailand.
There are several nice features as well, such as the fact that they save the old reports, so you can look back and check your progress over time. If you log in to your account, you can also download a Word document with a summary which is basically what you receive in your e-mail or a more detailed Excel report which contain all your rankings for each and every keyword over time. Some of these sites I’ve been tracking for over a year, so the value of that information is very high.
Lastly, but very importantly in my opinion, is the interface. The interface is very well designed, simple, effective, and very clean. When you work with online tools it is important to have a nice and clean interface, and they deliver just that.
The pricing structure is also quite reasonable. They have a starter pack at $5 a month, tracking one project, and the ranking of up to 50 keywords. The other 3 packages go all the way up to the Professional package which at $99 a month allows you to track up to 100 projects, each with up to a 100 keywords. All prices are very reasonable for the value you get, and the ease of which you can the progress of your domains for you or your clients.
Give it a try, they offer a 14 day free trial!
